Top 4world (4world.info) announced that the handy GMAC Official Guide squeaked into the Top 10 book list for May 2008, debuting at #10.
According to the website, top 4 world charts user-voted items to compile lists for books, cars, and other distractions. It does not seem these votes are audited in any way.
The Official Guide shares a common berth with books like Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebook by Wizards RPG Team (at #2). OG fans can go to the website to make their voice heard.
