Dave Wilson, President and CEO of GMAC (the sponsor of the GMAT and the owner of its trademark), is quoted to have said that MBA graduates are in great demand by recruiters. Base salaries of fresh graduates are reported to be 28% higher than those of graduates of other disciplines.
The same BusinessWeek source reports that MBA graduates this year will earn 84% higher than people with just undergraduate degrees.
The main reasons cited for this affinity for MBA's are the managerial qualities, team-building abilities, and strategic thinking capabilities of these business school graduates. |
