If you allow the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) to report your test scores and demographics to schools, you could be giving them the authorization to share your Social Security Number (SSN) and other sensitive information which can be used in identity theft.
Simon Garfinkel reports in the MIT Technology Review of his tribulations when his SSN was "inadvertently" allowed to leak to the Internet, where it found its way into the Google space through their web crawlers.
He was asked to take "prudent...precautions" that the whole episode did not adversely affect his credit ratings.
Best to avoid such a situation in the first place.
