| HBS launches a deferred MBA program for college undergraduates

We used to hear that unless you have at least five to six years of work experience under your belt, your chances of getting admitted to HBS were rather bleak. The introduction of the new “2+2” MBA launched by the business school, founded in 1908, changes the rules.
The idea is that high-achieving undergraduates would like a guaranteed spot in a future Harvard Business School MBA class. This guarantee comes, of course, with a few strings attached. The first is passing the selection process for the “2+2” program. The second is successful graduation from the undergraduate program. And the third is completion of 2 years of “approved” work experience prior to starting the MBA program.
The average GMAT score of the 106 participants selected from 630 applicants in the “2+2” program was 715. |
