GMATScore Verbal Course 2007
Guaranteed to improve your GMAT Verbal score by at least 10 percentage points
The GMATScore Verbal Course focuses squarely on the Verbal portion of the GMAT, and adds a bonus module on Essays.
The Verbal portion and Essays comprise two thirds of the GMAT. The Verbal portion consists of Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension questions, all roughly equal in number.
Performance in the Verbal portion is decisive in determining the overall score on the GMAT. In the top quartile, an increment in the Verbal score improves the overall score more dramatically than a similar increment in the Math score.
Designed for the busy professional, the Course can be downloaded from GMATScore servers and activated over the Internet. A diagnostic test familiarizes the user with types of verbal questions asked on the GMAT, and is a yardstick of the user’s capability at the start of the course. The test reports a basic percentile that has been normalized to reflect a user who aspires for an overall GMAT score of 680 and above.
The Verbal modules introduce each question type and walk the user through numerous worked examples. The modules follow the common theme that all GMATScore products adhere to: practice makes perfect.
The Course ends with a Final Test which gives a percentile score, and indicates the progress a user has made from beginning to end.
The Essays consist of one Analysis of an Issue section one Anaysis of an Argument section. Read more about essays here. Many B-school admission committees will read the responses to Essays – every test taker should have at least some practice under her belt.
